How to order my knives:
First, we will have to determine what you want your knife to look like. This can be achieved by comparing photos of finished knives. You may combine the handle of one knife with the blade style of another. A typical example of this is shown below:

We can also discuss the type of knife and your needs through e-mail or through a personal consultation. I will rough sketch the knife and note all the details. All my sketches are pencil and paper. Typical rough sketches are shown below with the final product:

The following is a typical request for an order with questions:
I would like to order a knife for fishing. I like the handle of the Charcoal Silvertone Hunter with Blue Spacers but I want the blade like a fillet knife. Can this be done? How much? How do I pay? How long will it take?
My reply:
Yes, that is no problem, the knife would look like this:
But with this handle:

Generally my fixed blade knives vary in price from $ 225.00 to $ 240.00 Canadian plus shipping. My folders start at $300.0 Canadian, plus shipping.
I require a deposit of 25% prior to starting the knife. The deposit is non-refundable. I will send an invoice, and payment can be made with a credit card through paypal. (There is no need to open a paypal account to pay) Once the knife is completed I will e-mail photos of the knife to you prior to shipping. At that point I will e-mail a final invoice and require the balance. The knife will be shipped once I receive the final balance.
My time frame for the completion of fixed blade knives will depend upon my order file. This will generally vary from 6 to 12 weeks but I will give an estimated date of completion. It is difficult to give a completion date for my folders as they involve an enormous amount of time but I generally allow 3 to 6 months for completion.
Other details to consider when ordering a knife:
Natural Wood: Natural wood is truly beautiful and I hand pick all my wood for interesting and unique
grain patterns from a local supplier. It does not take abuse as well as synthetic material.
That is, being dropped on rocks, stepped on, it will dent or mar.
Synthetic Material: Synthetic material such as Dymondwood, Micarta and G-10 are extremely durable.
Dymondwood and G-10 come in a variety of colours. These are good handle
choices when the knife is subject to a lot of abuse.
Etching: All the knives have my logo electro-chemically etched on one side and the Canadian flag on the other as shown in the photos below. You can personalize your custom knife even more with additional etching on the blade. For more etching ideas click here.
Warranty:
Workmanship is guaranteed on every knife. Misuse and abuse of the knife is excluded. Unfortunately I cannot give any warranty on natural materials due to their inherent nature. I do my utmost to use stabile materials , however their long term stability cannot be guaranteed. Customer care and climate changes will also influence natural materials.
